Olá Y'all!
This
week was pretty great! We did so much service! It is mostly raking
leaves, because Topeka is currently under about a foot of leaves.
We
also had the chance to do some service at a wedding this week! It was a
little wierd though because the two people getting married are younger
than me! It's so wierd! But I am happy that I was able to help and serve
them!
And today we got
to go see the Kansas state Capitol building! It was super awesome! It
brought back some good memories from youth leg!
And
we are continuing to reach many friends! I love seeing the change that
the Book of Mormon brings into people's lives! It is so powerful!
This
week a scripture from John stood out to me. It says "These things I
have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye
shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the
world." This scripture is so powerful! There is a lot going on in the
world right now, but that is no need to fear! He, our Savior, exemplar,
and Redeemer, has overcome the world! He has overcome our fears and
trials! And so if we turn to Him then He will help us to get through it
all. We can find peace and comfort knowing that Jesus Christ will help
and support us in every aspect of our lives!
Now it is time for pictures! Yay!
American flag when Kansas became a state! 'Merica!
